Pickleball

1-0-1

Are you brand new to pickleball and don’t know where to begin? This class is for you! You will get 2 hours of instruction giving you all the basics you need to play your first match. We will cover equipment, basic pickleball terminology, score keeping, court position, and the fundamentals of serve, return and volley. The end of the class will be reserved for some Open Play where you can start putting your new-found knowledge into action.

After completing your first Pickleball 1-0-1 class, you are ready to attend our second step, Pickleball 1-0-2. This class will include more game time so you can put all the things you learned in the first class into practice. This is a very important step and will help bridge the gap between what you learned in the first class and being able to actually play a real game of pickleball. **Must have completed Pickleball 1-0-1 to attend this class.

How to sign up:
Download the Pickleball Playground app. Scroll down to PROGRAMS and choose the Pickleball 1-0-1 or 1-0-2 class. Sign up is required and clinics fill up, so don’t delay! If a class is full, we do have a waitlist that you can join. You will be notified if a spot opens up.

* If you don't yet have a paddle, we can provide one for you at no charge for the clinic.

*If the Weather is Nice
Sunscreen, Hat, and Sunglasses

Court Shoes
* Street shoes and running shoes will not be permitted as they leave marks on the courts. Please wear court appropriate court shoes. Court shoes have a harder sole that doesn't leave marks and are meant for playing on painted courts.
