Doug Miedaner played tennis for Louisiana State University (LSU) and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Doug received All-Conference Honors at 3,4 and 5 singles. Doug has been teaching tennis for over 30 years but has really developed a passion for the sport of pickleball. He especially loves introducing beginners to the game and is currently our Pickleball 1-0-1 instructor. Doug has coordinated beginner pickleball programs, lessons and clinics at Tennessee Tennis Club and Academy since 2018 and is very excited about being part of The Pickleball Playground. We love having Doug on our team because he is passionate about teaching the fundamental strategy and techniques to new players and loves watching people quickly enjoy the game and develop their skill level.
